IT Talks: From integration consultants to Salesforce developers
At Redpill Linpro, we live by our mantra: "People first" – for we know it's our fantastic employees who make us who we are. For us, it's about creating close collaborations, listen to our employees, and providing a work environment where flexibility and individual growth take center stage. Louise Ahlqvist and Tasmia Syed both began their careers as integration developers at Redpill Linpro. But when the opportunity to become Salesforce developers arose, they saw it as a chance for personal and professional development. Tasmia describes the transition as "A significant change in my career," and it is this drive for change and curiosity of new challenges that we value and support.
- "It's an exciting twist to transition. Integration is quite invisible – a good integration is something no one sees. Many aren't even aware that IT integration exists. And then, you move on to Salesforce, which is the complete opposite: a system that users work directly in and see exactly what you've done. So, it's somewhat two extremes. From working with backend as integration developer to working more with frontend with Salesforce applications and making them function", says Louise.
Their career progression has been full of new opportunities. With the support of a mentor and a senior developer, they receive the assistance they need to thrive in their new roles.
- "It feels very secure, and it's also incredibly exciting that a company invests so much in us employees," says Tasmia.
