Open Source community and engagement
Within the community of Open Source, engagement is fundamental. You give, and you gain. Redpill Linpro has its roots in a passion for Open Source, and it has always been natural for us to contribute and participate in that community. This is one of our most important Key Performance Indicators, and we measure it regularly.
We work strategically after UN recommendations
The UN has identified sustainability goals that businesses worldwide are urged to adopt and work towards. At Redpill Linpro, we are specifically committed to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. We have singled out the most applicable goals for our sort of business, and it added up to 11 different ones. They align with our commitment to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact about Human Rights, Labour, Environment, and Anti-Corruption. The principles are fundamental to us and how we do business. They are incorporated into our processes and routines and set the standard for how we act.

Environment, social, governance – ESG
We integrate ESG factors into our business because we genuinely believe it leads to better long-term results. ESG is a great tool and a way to identify the areas where we should focus. It helps the company to keep moving, keep evolving and become better and better at running a sustainable business.
Sustainability includes being profitable but still providing a good salary and a work environment where people can thrive and contributing to a good quality of life. We firmly believe that we, as a company, have the means and muscles to contribute to sustainability and the society around us and to give back to those less fortunate than us.
Ok, but what is ESG?
ESG is short for Environmental, Social, Governance. It is a way to pinpoint how an organization creates value for employees, customers, suppliers, and financiers. "Value" is not just measured in money and profit. Value is a broader measurement and includes sustainability work, workplace environment, and continuous, strategic value-based work. ESG presents a fuller picture of a company’s success compared to direct economic results.

How does the sustainability work impact my day-to-day work?
Our view on sustainability and ESG runs through our entire company and pours through every project. It is very well incorporated into our work, and you probably won’t even notice it. At least not in any roadblock-kind of way. You will see the ESG clearly when you look at the projects we pick, how we run our offices, and how we treat each other and our equipment respectfully.
We take our social and environmental responsibility seriously, and when you work at Redpill Linpro, you will notice that we set aside time to work with it. To us, ESG and sustainability work must be more than desktop research and fancy principles. This is our world, our future, and we want to build something lasting.
