For 18 years, Redpill Linpro has worked with API-driven integrations across various platforms. To continue driving innovation and development in this field, we recently expanded our technology portfolio by adding Microsoft Azure - expanding our focus on modern integration services.

Robert joined Redpill Linpro at the beginning of 2024 as a Senior Azure Architect. He has an extensive background in this field and helps customers on their journey to the cloud. He works from our Karlstad office, building a strong team of developers specializing in Azure.

Redpill Linpro has about seventy certified integration consultants in various platforms. With that knowledge and experience, we can help customers deliver effective integration solutions regardless of the platform they choose.

What inspired Redpill Linpro to choose Azure?

"Azure is one of the largest cloud platforms and more and more companies are chosing it for their needs. If we are to help all our customers benefit from our experience and ideas, then we need to support those who use Azure as well as other platforms."

"As a growing provider of integration services, we also want to be able to deliver our services on various technologies in the future. I look forward to discussions internally and with our customers about what the best platform is for them in the short and long term. I am fully convinced that some will choose the Azure platform for various reasons, while others will opt for open-source-based platforms for different reasons."

Regarding Open Source, Redpill Linpro talks a lot about open source and free software. How does Microsoft Azure fit with what Redpill Linpro does?

"We still believe in an open development model and are advocates for open source methodologies and thinking. We also believe in transparency when it comes to communication with our customers. This remains a core principle for us. Over the 20 years we have worked with open source, more and more companies have adopted an open strategy and are working more with open source methodologies. Microsoft, which is behind Azure, is actually one of the largest contributors to open source movements today. They allocate time and resources to help develop open source components and products.
If we want to be true thought leaders within API & Integration for Scandinavia, we can not limit our offerings and delivery to just a certain number of platforms."
